Eva Schnecke, born in Washington State. Life long artist.
As a Seattle born, Washington resident, I became fascinated with nature at a young age. I became particularly focused on capturing the sunsets over Lake Stevens on paper, and was awestruck when I first saw the night sky from the mountains without light pollution. I realized early on that I was a conscious being living in a universe that was so beautiful.
This influence can be seen directly in my work with my interpretions of imaginary nebulae and abstract works. They mostly focus on using color and shape that evoke emotion in a way that I learned from imitating celestial nature.
With this style of painting I have been able to express myself and process personal experiences, as well as vicarious ones, in hopes that others may be touched, find peace, and maybe feel a little less alone in on this pale blue dot.
